Why subscribe?

Getting older ain’t for the faint of heart. So why do it alone? Join me as I enter my seventies and deal with the issues — and joys — of aging. Not as a grump. But as someone who knows he’s been blessed. From that also will emerge words of mostly humor and gratitude.

What I hope to impart is partly insight and information about many of my retirement pastimes. These include topics around travel, RVing, pickleball, wine tasting, cooking, movies, and shared stories with and about friends. Plus I’ll pass on relevant, carefully chosen stories addressing health, aging research, and what others are doing — or not — to live longer, better.

By subscribing, you’ll be joining a community of other smart, eloquent, and worldly senior citizens as we share our experiences of going through our golden years together. With a subscription, you’ll be able to join the conversation among a thoughtful and civil group of folks by being able to post your own anecdotes, insights, and stories along side my own. Plus you’ll get full access to the newsletter and website.

It’s easy

Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox. Plus, I’m a retired journalist, feature writer, and Internet editor and executive. I know a thing or two about making content colorful and easy to consume.
